SECRET OF A PERFECT PAN GRILLED BEEF STEAK

 If you are looking for a quick and simple recipe for your lunch or dinner, grilling a beef steak in a pan is the best way to do it. This recipe has three very basic seasonings and no fussing around. SERVINGS: Good for 1 person
 
PREPARATION:  3 mins

COOKING TIME: Approx  8 mins

INGREDIENTS:
  • 300 gms sirloin beef - Note: should be out of fridge for atleast 30 mins or overnight if from freezer to come up to a room temperature. In this way, it will cook better. 
  • Pinch of salt
  • Pinch of ground black pepper
  • Olive oil - to drizzle
  • Half lemon - juice


INSTRUCTIONS:
  1. Put the meat in a plate. Drizzle with olive oil and seasoned with few pinch of salt and pepper. Do this on both sides. 
  2. Once the meat is ready, heat a pan into a high temperature. And if it is hot enough, put the beef steak directly into the pan. Please note that no oil needed to add to the pan. The oil from the steak will come out and will fry the beef by itself. 
  3. Approximately within 8 minutes the steak should be ready to serve, however, please ensure that in between, the bottom part should be checked and turning should be done few times until both sides are golden brown. Note: to cook the fatty sides, hold the steak with the tong and press the fatty sides against the pan for few minutes. This will give a beautiful golden brown shiny look on the side. 
  4. After 8 minutes and you are happy with the look, remove it from the heat and transfer to a serving plate.
  5. Prior serving, squeeze half of the lemon into the steak and drizzle it again with olive oil. And your work is done.
  6. Now you can enjoy eating your special beef steak!
