This video was taken during our 5 weeks brix club. We have so much fun. At first JC and Caela was not so sure what to build, as there were so many bricks of lego in front of them that was on the first week. It feels overwelming if have lots of unfamiliar things in front of you, however as the weeks go on, JC and Caela figure out what they want to make. In this video, JC was making a 2 story elevator building. It was amazing to see him create such idea and according to the coordinator it was a unique idea and she didn't see it before. She mentioned that JC is a smart boy, and I do agree with her. I think thru this imaginative play, kids able to express themselves and create things according to what they perceive and give them pleasure in building it. According, to one of our instructor in parenting class, building bricks is the most effective way children can learn how to create things and relate with it. It was such a productive weeks. After the course of the brix club, JC was asking for it. I therefore say that JC gained pleasure and enjoyment with the brix club....not only that JC & Caela able to socialized with other kids on the program.. Well done JC !
